What inspired you to start Roots Research?
The thrill of tracing my own lineage inspired the creation of Roots Research. Tracing eight lineages and going back to the 1500’s was fascinating. Discovering past stories, delving into historical records like physical details such as hair and eye color on military records, and exploring intriguing details like land ownership history or the reasons for an ancestor’s emigration is incredibly rewarding. Our fascination with uncovering family histories and helping others connect with their roots by creating a custom 10-day “Travel Your Roots” itinerary led to this service’s inception. Bringing ancestral stories to life through lineage tracing has been our driving passion from the start.
